Head over to the OpenTrack releases page and grab the latest version. It's free and open-source.
To ensure SmoothTrack can communicate with OpenTrack, you may need to allow incoming UDP traffic on port 4242 through your firewall in case you have one. See Troubleshooting for detailed instructions on how to do that.

Getting head tracking set up can sometimes be tricky due to different network setups, but I can assure you it's definitely possible to get it working on your system.
